The Hearing & Balance Center accommodates adults and children of all ages with disorders of the ear and conditions that affect hearing, balance and facial paralysis (see Programs & Centers). Yale offers the newest advances in surgical techniques and an active hearing rehabilitation program, which includes the most current audiologic testing techniques available and the latest developments in hearing aid technology. The center offers:

• dizziness evaluation
• hearing evaluations
• tympanometry
• brain stem auditory
• guidance in the purchase of hearing aid and orientation to hearing aid use
• parent counseling, parent/infant training program
• screening of infants
• sign language interpreters are available on request

The Hearing and Balance Center at Yale accommodates patients of all ages. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.
