Medical Education
Mission: To integrate best external evidence and clinical expertise into evidence-based pediatric surgical practice.
Goals:
- To teach principles of evidence-based pediatric surgical research to medical students, residents, and fellows.
- To support development of research protocols in pediatric surgery that will contribute to the body of best external evidence.
- To explore the unique challenges presented by applying rigorous research criteria in pediatric surgery.
- To integrate best external evidence and clinical expertise into evidence-based pediatric surgical practice.
Representative Projects
A journal club committed to the review of evidence-based journal articles. The topics discussed form the basis of an evidence-based curriculum in Pediatric Surgery.
